Hello to everyone,
I’d love to let you know about our Ayurvedic Residential Retreats for 2015. This year Jacinta and Leanne will be running at least 4 retreats (with perhaps more in Byron Bay – I’ll keep you posted if you wish).
Three of these retreats will be held at Artizen, Glenreagh (northern NSW). This is Leanne’s beautiful home that she loves to share. It’s a gorgeous space to hide away and learn some valuable skills for your profession or for your person…..
Let me know if you are interested in attending as the numbers will be limited. Happy to chat and answer any questions.
So here they are!

Living Ayurveda Residential Retreat (in Byron Bay)
Ayurvedic Massage Residential Retreat
Learn the healing art of Ayurvedic Massage while nourishing the mind, body and spirit.
Ayurvedic Massage (or Abhyanga) is a sublime full body massage that honours our individuality. It balances the underlying guiding forces that direct our body and influence the mind (vata, pitta and kapha).
Strength, stamina, health and vitality can be achieved through regular Ayurvedic massage. Abhyanga improves blood and lymphatic flow, loosens tight muscles, cleanses and vitalises the internal organs and calms the mind and nervous system, soothing away anxieties and suppressed emotions.
Gain:
- An understanding of the fundamental principles of Ayurvedic Medicine and how this is applied to massage and your own self healing
- The ability to perform Abhyanga (or Ayurvedic Massage) and vary this according to individual needs.
- A knowledge of the essential marma points (Ayurvedic energy centres), their locations and their indications
- An understanding of the appropriate selection of medicated herbal oils in Ayurvedic massage
An inspiring and rejuvenative weekend with yoga, meditation and wholesome Ayurvedic meals.
Ayurvedic Cleanse Residential Retreat
Be supported to begin an Ayurvedic Cleanse…
Over this weekend you will begin to gently cleanse the whole body and calm the mind and the emotions.
Ayurveda offers a gentle, wholistic approach which removes toxins from the digestive tract and cells, calms and centres the mind and leaves us feeling lighter, vital, clearer and more alert.
Ayurvedic cleansing often results in a deep knowledge of what our body, mind and spirit require to maintain balance, and the motivation to do so.
This Retreat will share the practical aspects of an Ayurvedic cleanse and provide you with tools to maintain this cleanse in your own home.
You will learn to prepare simple, cleansing Ayurvedic meals, perform self massage, perform gentle daily cleansing routines, understand the use of herbs and spices to assist in the cleansing process and experience yoga practices and meditation to revitalise, stabilise and calm.
Another inspiring and rejuvenative weekend with yoga, meditation and simple Ayurvedic meals.
